Allington Castle Archers

Welcome to Allington Castle Archers

Allington Castle Archers is an open club and is one of the longest-established clubs in the south-east. The club was formed in 1969 and was based at Allington Castle. It has a large active membership covering all the bow types available recurve, compound longbow and barebow.

The club focuses mainly on target archery but some members go to field shoots that are held around the country. There are several senior and county coaches among the membership helping fellow archers develop their skills. There is a wealth of experience in the club and numbers are expanding - archers new to the area and beginners are always welcome.

We shoot outdoors all year round on weekends, and on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the summer, we also shoot indoors during the winter months.

July Club News

The summer is upon us and i am sure that are quite a few of you that are now shooting rounds and improving your handicaps.

Therefore, can you please make sure you put your score sheets into the tin in the shed or give them to Stuart Evans who is currently dealing with the club records

Good luck with your shooting and see you on the field.
