Welcome to Allington Castle Archers

Allington Castle Archers is an open club and is one of the longest-established clubs in the south-east. The club was formed in 1969 and was based at Allington Castle. It has a large active membership covering all the bow types available recurve, compound longbow and barebow.

The club focuses mainly on target archery but some members go to field shoots that are held around the country. There are several senior and county coaches among the membership helping fellow archers develop their skills. There is a wealth of experience in the club and numbers are expanding - archers new to the area and beginners are always welcome.

We shoot outdoors all year round on weekends, and on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the summer, we also shoot indoors during the winter months.

A Welcome Message from the Chairman.

This summer we are running two outdoor record status events and one beginners course.

Our Sir Thomas Wyatt and Whitefriars open tournaments will be held at a new and promising venue for archery - Kings Hill Sports Park. Please see elsewhere for details and entry forms.

Good luck to everybody and a good summer's shooting !

Congratulations to all the archers who took place at Gravesend Archers Jubilee Shoot.
