Allington Castle Archers

Welcome to Allington Castle Archers

Allington Castle Archers is an open club and is one of the longest-established clubs in the south-east. The club was formed in 1969 and was based at Allington Castle. It has a large active membership covering all the bow types available recurve, compound longbow and barebow.

The club focuses mainly on target archery but some members go to field shoots that are held around the country. There are several senior and county coaches among the membership helping fellow archers develop their skills. There is a wealth of experience in the club and numbers are expanding - archers new to the area and beginners are always welcome.

We shoot outdoors all year round on weekends, and on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the summer, we also shoot indoors during the winter months.

April Club News

Dear All

April is upon us and the outdoor season has started, I hope that some of you have set some goals for this year and put in some plans to achieve these goals.

The beginners course for this year has just ended, and was well attended. Thank you to all of the coaches and club members who turned out to help.

There is a new version of the summer calendar on the website, please take a look and plan your shooting year.

Hope to see you all on the field.

Best Wishes
