Welcome to Allington Castle Archers
Allington Castle Archers is an open club and is one of the longest-established clubs in the south-east. The club was formed in 1969 and was based at Allington Castle. It has a large active membership covering all the bow types available recurve, compound longbow and barebow.
The club focuses mainly on target archery but some members go to field shoots that are held around the country. There are several coaches among the membership helping fellow archers develop their skills. There is a wealth of experience in the club and numbers are expanding - archers new to the area and beginners are always welcome.
We shoot outdoors all year round on weekends, and on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the summer, we also shoot indoors during the winter months.

A welcome message from the Chairman.
Well, summer seemed to race away and now we find ourselves in 2015 already!
We had our AGM in mid November which resulted in some changes to the committee. (members are listed in "the club" on or home page.).
Our indoor season started last October and it has been very popular so far this year, not only with our own members but visitors from neighboring clubs too. If you wish to come along, please check our winter calendar as not every Friday is available to us at Lockmeadow.
We held our Autumn Indoor Worcester/Portsmouth at the end of November and it was fully booked. Thanks again to Mark and Derrick who officiated and to the Club members for their assistance.
We look forward to our next indoor event, the Spring Worcester/Portsmouth which looks like it will be fully booked too.
There is just one two-day beginners Course this year starting at Easter.
