Allington Castle Archers is an open club and is one of the longest-established clubs in the south-east. The club was formed in 1969 and was based at Allington Castle. It has a large active membership covering all the bow types available recurve, compound, longbow and barebow.
The club focuses mainly on target archery but some members go to field shoots that are held around the country. There are several senior and county coaches among the membership helping fellow archers develop their skills. There is a wealth of experience in the club and numbers are expanding - archers new to the area and beginners are welcome to enquire about membership.
We shoot outdoors all year round on weekends, and on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the summer, we also shoot indoors during the winter months.

Welcome to our readers. One club tournament (Chairman's Cup) already completed and a MKL match also done. Our beginner's course went well and I thank the coaches for their hard work and welcome the new members on behalf of the club. Two outdoor tournaments this year. Our two day Sir Thomas Wyatt in late June and our one day White Friars in late August. Both again held at Kings Hill Sports Park. Entry forms can be found elsewhere on this site. We have just introduced the 252 badge incentive scheme. Iím sure that this will prove popular.
